My parents have history in Colorado Springs now. They both went to school there, met there, and married there. It's a hopping city, as well as beautiful. 

However, we did not arrive there until we drove through these nice views, so don't get too excited.

I think bringing bikes on this trip was a worthy endeavor. Here we are at a public park taking a driving break.  

Almost there! We arrived at the Air Force Academy campsite later that evening where we stayed the next three nights.
