Leaving Washington
It was a sad day for the Locklear's when we had to leave the Honey's. Good-byes are no fun, especially when your friends live thousands of miles away. Lots of changes are about to happen this coming year in both homes however, so all we can do is plan for our next visit.

DJ is going to miss hanging out with his "Little Buddy", JD.

The mac-n-cheese on the RV did not seem as appetizing after all Aunt Chessa's good Italian cooking.
Although it was hard saying bye, we were excited for our next locations. Nothing like stopping by a closed ski lodge parking lot for a quick break.

"On the road again!"
The next day, we stopped at Lake Coeur d'Alene, which had the longest floating boardwalk and a great park.

The nice thing about traveling is that you get to take "breaks" at fantastic views like this.

For dinner break that night, we stopped at the (closed) Rocky Mountain Elk foundation. Mom had been cooking some delicious beef in the crock pot all day, so we were quite ready to chow down.

I also might have flipped over Cameron's bike handlebars and gracefully busted my chin and leg, but that is is the past and there is not need to tell the whole story...
