California: Part Three

Our next stop was the coast. Being avid beach lovers we braced ourselves for a different oceanic experience than we have had in the past. Althoug we were not able to swim in the cold Pacific water, we were pleased with the beautiful scenery.

Don't you just love fingerprints....I can't stand them.

It may be beautiful, but prepared to be carsick...or rather seasick?

We arrived at our campsite, which had a beautiful view of the crashing waves. It also had a great set of trails along the ocean.

Schaeffer the geologist.

Can you spot me?
Let's step it up... Can you spot Dad?

What about seals?

The view from our house.

Next morning was foggy, but just as beautiful.

We took the Pacific Coast Highway on our way to the Redwoods.

We LOVE trees!!!

We highly reccomend seeing the Redwood groves if you ever travel. We loved walking the lush trails absent of crowds of prople... unlike the Sequioas.

They were HUGE! Some even as tall as 300 feet.

The Corkscrew tree(s).

BIG TREE
We stopped at this lovely beach to eat dinner.
BYE CALIFORNIA!
